Save a Word Saturday - Salubrious

My word today is Salubrious simply because it is the word that popped into my head. It's not particularly an old word, I suppose, but I rarely hear it used.

Definition of SALUBRIOUS
: favorable to or promoting health or well-being <salubrious habits> from The Merriam-Webster's Site.
"You could use a salubrious cup of tea, dear," Fran said.
"I've got a day of working outside planned," I said. "Then a nice cup of coffee, thanks." I winked.
"Well, outdoors work is always salubrious too, if it's sunny," Fran said enjoying her use of a big word.
"The sands of the hourglass are falling fast my dear Fran. I better get outside before all of the good weather is gone."

Hahaha! I had a surprise. I thought this week's theme was tea! So, I squeezed in the theme there...did  you see that? ;)

  2. This is one of those words that really doesn't sound like what it means. Good pick! And excellent incorporation of the theme ;)
